It’s amazing how much an abandoned place can change in just six years. When I first visited this hotel along the Hai Van Pass, in Da Nang, Vietnam, it was completely sealed off. A huge gate blocked the entrance, and I had to climb through the jungle to even get close. And at that stage, all the hotel’s doors were blocked and there was no way in.
Fast forward six years later. The gate is gone and every door is wide open. It’s not the most visually stunning abandoned spot I’ve photographed but still a cool piece of Vietnamese history!
