Ireland Powerstation

Poolbeg Pigeon House Power Station, Dublin (Ireland)

The Pigeon House, more formally known as the Poolbeg plant was built in the early 1900’s and was used for power generation. Out of all of the buildings I have been to, the Pigeon House was by far the hardest to find and get in. It is tucked away in the heart of a huge power plant site which is surrounded by acres of land and Sandymount beach. The building is right beside one that is occupied by ESB which meant there were security guards everywhere.
